This luxury, one-bedroomed, self catering accomodation is situated on the ground floor of Coogrind. Many visitors who arrive here for the first time are amazed and found to be speechless when they set eyes on the mind-blowing scenery. The decked seating area outside the front door is perfectly situated to sit and admire this scenery.
The open-plan living/kitchen is fully equipped for a home-from-home holiday with a large flat screen television, internet access and a washing machine.
The luxurious bathroom is large with a built-in shower.
The bedroom has a superking-size luxury bed that is so comfortable you will not want to get up in the morning. (The bed can be separated into twin beds if required.)
We have a cot, high chair and buggy should it be required.
Everyone has a different reason for visiting the Shetland Isles; it could simply be for the scenery, visiting friends or family, or it could be for the wildlife, history, architecture, music, walks... or even the weather.
Believe it or not, people have been known to visit for the weather. One day it can be a glorious sunny day and you could find yourself standing on one of our amazing white sand beaches, with seals popping their heads up out of the turquoise blue sea every now and then just to keep an eye on you, and the next day it could be blowing a gale and once again you could find yourself standing on one of our amazing white sand beaches this time watching a wild sea at play.

Directions
Driving Directions From Scalloway/Lerwick:
Follow the B9074 road through the island of Trondra and over the second bridge into the island of Burra (approx 5 miles).
Once in Burra, follow signs for Hamnavoe. Once you have reached Hamnavoe, pass the Burra Community Hall on your right and approximately 100m after that there is a turning to your left (small shell shed on right).
Turn left onto this road and proceed up the hill for approximately 200m. Coogrind is at the top, on the left as far as you can go.
