Welcome to Windhouse Croft self-catering cottage. This new build is on the site of the original croft and is finished in traditional stone from a local quarry. A modern, fully-equipped cottage with underfloor heating throughout. There is a small, secluded patio garden at the rear of the property with seating area and ample parking space. The cottage is 17 miles from Lerwick and 7 miles from Sumburgh airport.

The property is a few minutes’ walk away from the stunning St Ninian's Isle beach. St Ninian's Isle is connected to the mainland by the largest tombolo in the UK.

There is a well-stocked local shop and post office within walking distance of the cottage.

Shetland has a fascinating and unique natural environment with an abundance of beautiful scenery, geology, bird life, sea mammals and wildflowers to discover.

Visit Jarlshof and delve into more than 4,000 years of human settlement in the same location. Neolithic people first settled at this site in Shetland around 2700 BC, and it remained in use until the AD 1600s.
