There are two cosy double bedrooms on the first floor and a twin bedroom on the ground floor. All bed linen and towels are provided.

The living room has comfortable seating, Freesat TV, DVD player and unlimited wifi. There is a selection of books, games and DVDs to enjoy. The dining space can accommodate up to six people.

The bright, airy kitchen has a range-style electric cooker, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. It is fully equipped for all self-catering needs.

The oil fired central heating is included in the cost. There is plenty of on-street parking.

The West Mainland Leisure Centre is only a few hundred metres away from the house and has a swimming pool, fitness suite, health suite and climbing wall.

Michaelswood is a wonderful award-winning wooded area which delights young and old alike. It is a novelty in this treeless landscape and one of Shetland’s most child-friendly attractions, with dinosaurs, picnic areas, and a recently added reading room!

The Aith Marina in the heart of the village has boats available to charter for fishing and sightseeing.

Britain’s most northerly RNLI lifeboat is stationed at Aith Pier. The Aith Lifeboat Gala Day in June is a fun day out for all the family, followed by the Regatta in July which includes sailing and rowing races.

The waterfall at the Burn of Lunklet is just a 5-minute drive north of Aith. A short path leads up the burn to the waterfall. After that you can treat yourself to some homebakes at the Original Cake Fridge or its recently opened Tea Room!
