'Hjaltland' is a refurbished bright and airy top floor flat situated in a spacious residential cul-de-sac with easy off-road parking. Ideally located as it is very close to the town centre – just a 4-minute walk away – yet it is situated in a particularly quiet and picturesque part of Lerwick with outstanding sea views to the southwest over Breiwick Bay and adjoins a small, free, 9-hole golf course which sweeps along the spectacular Lerwick coastline.

With town and country on your doorstep it is the perfect retreat for both tourist and business visitors alike.

Bookings can be made for as little as four nights and prices are from £80 per night depending on the time of year and the number of guests.

This luxury, well-equipped property boasts an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with quality leather sofas, flatscreen LCD TV with Freeview channels, DVD player and Hifi system. The lounge and dining area both have amazing sea views either southwards over the golf course and the beautiful Breiwick Bay or northwards over Lerwick and out towards the north mouth of the harbour.

A carefully planned kitchen with beautiful solid oak fitted units and black satin worktops comes complete with fully-integrated dishwasher, double oven, washing machine, microwave and large fridge/freezer as well as a quality range of crockery and cutlery.

There are two double bedrooms with quality solid oak furniture, large fitted wardrobes and LED TVs with Freeview channels.

The luxurious bathroom comprises WC, washbasin, curved bath with overhead mains power shower and heated towel-rail.

Heating is supplied by way of storage heaters and electric panel heaters.

All bedlinen, towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are supplied.

We also provide a good selection of interesting books, games, maps and DVDs for visitors' use.

Outdoors there is a shared garden and washing-line (with the apartment below), however, a small flight of steps just outside the front door leads onto open grassland which slopes down to the spectacular Lerwick coastline where wildlife and birdlife are in abundance.

There is plenty of allocated parking directly outside the apartment and across the road.

'Stocketgaet' is a refurbished, luxury, bright and airy top floor apartment (with just one flat below it) and is situated in a modern development on the north side of Lerwick. It boasts superb elevated views over the north harbour entrance and out towards the island of Bressay.

Very close to all town centre amenities as well as a local shop, the Shetland Hotel, and bus-stop on the doorstep it really is the perfect retreat for both tourist and business visitors alike and can be rented on a short term basis or for longer term serviced lets.

This well-equipped and spacious holiday accommodation boasts a brand new, fully fitted kitchen, beautiful luxury bathroom, a good size livingroom with excellent sea views, and two comfortable bedrooms, all decorated to the very highest of standards.

The living/dining room has been tastefully decorated and furnished with two large sofas and footstool, quality wool carpets, solid oak furniture as well as a 40” LED TV with Freeview channels, a Blueray DVD player and Hifi system. This large living area also enjoys amazing sea views over the north harbour and across to Bressay.

General

Open throughout the year for short or longer term serviced lets.

The minimum stay is four nights with prices from £120, depending on the number of people and time of year.

We are happy to meet you at the property at 3pm, or alternative arrangements for key collection can be made in advance of arrival.

Check-in time: 3pm / Check-out time: 10am / Change-over day: Friday (during peak months).

The properties can sleep up to three people in two bedrooms.

Sorry, but no pets are allowed and no smoking inside the premises.

Directions

Hjaltland - from Northlink Ferry Terminal

From the Ferry Terminal turn left onto the main road and follow the coastal road into the main town centre; as you pass the main harbour front and head up the hill (Church Road) you will reach a small roundabout at the top of the hill near a large Kirk. Take the second exit which is the road straight ahead of you (Knab Road) and head up the hill a short distance and take the second right turning just past the Glen Orchy Guest House into Hjaltland Place.

No 8 Hjaltland Place is situated on the left hand side of the road, with a red door.

From Sumburgh Airport

From Sumburgh Airport follow the main A970 to Lerwick. Upon descending the hill into Lerwick on the main South Road, keep straight ahead over the 2 roundabouts heading into the centre of Lerwick. When you reach the small roundabout near the big Kirk at the top of Church Road, take the third exit into Knab Road. As you drive up the slight hill Hjaltland Place is the second turning on your right just past the Glen Orchy Guest House.

No 8 Hjaltland Place is situated on the left hand side of the road, with a red door.

Stocketgaet - From Lerwick Ferry Terminal

1. Turn right out of the ferry terminal

2. Turn first left at the mini roundabout taking you onto Ladies Drive

3. Follow the road just a short distance up the hill and take the third turning on your right (immediately past the bus-stop) into Stocketgaet.

4. No 15 Stocketgaet forms part of the first red block on the right, being the upper flat on the far right.

From Sumburgh Airport

1. Follow the main A970 to Lerwick.

2. Upon descending the hill into Lerwick go straight through the first mini roundabout near the Sound School then take the first left at the main roundabout near Tescos. As you pass the Clickimin Leisure Centre go straight through the next small roundabout then take the first left at the next 3 roundabouts passing Grantfield Garage, the Co-op supermarket and the Lerwick Ferry Terminal.

3. Follow Ladies Drive just a short distance up the hill and take the third turning on your right (immediately past the bus-stop) into Stocketgaet.
