Fully and faithfully restored, the cottage offers a fantastic base for your Shetland holiday. Within strolling distance of all local amenities including Shetland Museum and Archives, Mareel cinema and music venue, many restaurants, bars and cafes. A stone's throw from the small boat harbour, tourist office and 'da street' - Lerwick's main shopping area. Can accommodate two medium-sized pets.

The Captains cottage is over two levels.  The front door opens into the spacious kitchen/diner, which is well appointed and includes - induction hob, eye level oven, combination microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oak table & chairs. Leading from the kitchen/dinner is a sun porch area with a café style table and chair set and the back door. The utility room is adjacent to the sun porch and houses the  washing machine, tumble dryer and  plenty of storage space for jackets and boots!

 The living room is to the left of the front door and features a very comfortable chesterfield sofa and two leather chairs, Sky TV, solid oak coffee and lamp tables, table and floor lamps.

Stairs lead to the first floor. Access to the bathroom is from the first floor landing. Stylish vanity unit, mirror, WC, heated towel rail, and a shower enclosure. The bathroom has the luxury of under floor heating.

 The master bedroom with luxury double bed and quality Harrison mattress. Ample storage includes wardrobe, bedsides cabinets and underbed drawers. The second bedroom features twin beds, which can convert to a super king bed if required, quality Harrison mattresses, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.

All heating, electricity, WiFi, towels and linen are included. Parking is available nearby.

 2 medium sized dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £30 per stay.
