Recently renovated, accessible, comfortable, detached cottage set on the Westshore of picturesque Scalloway. With a bright and airy open plan living area, 2 bedrooms, and a shower room, The Sheiling is fully equipped, furnished and decorated to a high standard. Centrally situated with easily accessible beaches, shops, restaurants, and transport links. Free wifi.

 

Establishment Overview

The Sheiling Cottage has an open plan living area with kitchen/dining area and lounge. There is a fully fitted kitchen with oven, fridge, washing machine and microwave. It is equipped with all the cutlery, crockery, utensils, pans, dishes and other cooking/baking equipment that you may need for your stay. The dining area offers you a choice of table and 4 chairs, or breakfast bar seating for 4.

The living area has two comfortable leather sofas, a large coffee table, and an LED TV with Freeview channels and inbuilt DVD player. There is a wide selection of Shetland books and guides, adult and children’s fiction, games and DVDs for all ages.

There are 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two single beds. Both have built-in wardrobes with hangers, full length mirrors and bedside chests with drawer storage. Extra blankets are provided.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, toilet, wash-hand basin and heated towel radiator.

Oil central heating with thermostatically controlled radiators, and an electric flame effect fire in the sitting room, ensure it is cosy and warm all year round.

Heat, CO2 and smoke detector alarms are fitted.

Iron, ironing board, hairdryer, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner, are all provided.

All linen/towels, electric/heating and welcome pack are included in the price. Our welcome pack includes toilet roll and kitchen roll, hand soap, dish washing liquid, clothes washing powder/liquids, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

Externally there is a drying green, with garden benches on the west side, and a private patio on the east side – great for catching the morning sun.

Approx. 30 metres to Westshore Beach.

Centrally located, this is an ideal base from which to explore all that Shetland has to offer. It is also ideal for short-term business lets.
